How Stave handles your files

On your computer

Stave runs locally. There is no Banlys account for the audio you drop. A file you open is handled on that computer for the open session. Refresh clears the session.

When Stave Share is on, a phone on the same Wi-Fi can open a window onto that same computer. The link is a key for that session. The file is not sent to Banlys.

What we do not collect from the app

• We do not upload your audio to Banlys servers.
• We do not require a Stave login to edit tags or download a copy.
• Saved presets stay in the local browser storage until you export them.
