Finished song · delivery copy

Stave

Before the song leaves your hands.

Prepare the copy you mean to deliver. Your name and copyright stay on it. The session tool's notes come off. The file you dropped stays where it was.

Not every switch. Just the moment that matters.

Finished. Still carrying the room.

The song is done. The file still knows which tool sat with you.

Your name stays on it. The session doesn't.

What you get

A clean copy of a finished song — credits kept, workshop labels cleared, checked after the write.

  • New file only. Download writes a draft into a fresh copy. Your original does not move.
  • Credits you keep. Artist name, title, and copyright stay when you leave them on.
  • Workshop labels off. Privacy Clean drops comments, encoder lines, custom tags, and other session traces from the copy.
  • A release note. The zip includes release.txt, read from the written copy — not from memory of the draft.
  • On your Mac. No account. The song does not go to Banlys.

What stays. What goes.

Stave is picky on purpose. It is not a blank wipe unless you ask for one.

Stays on the copy

  • Title, artist, album credits you keep
  • Copyright line
  • The sound itself

Comes off (Privacy Clean)

  • Comments and session notes
  • Encoder / tool labels
  • Custom tags and broadcast chunks
  • Lyrics and artwork (off by default in Privacy Clean)

A handoff, start to finish

  1. Drop the finished fileMP3, FLAC, M4A, WAV, AIFF, or OGG.
  2. Run Privacy CleanCredits stay on. Workshop labels leave the draft.
  3. Check the writeStave reads the new copy. If a session note is still there, that file stays out of the zip.
  4. Deliver the zipAudio plus release note. Original still on disk, untouched.

What Stave does not do

A mark mixed into the sound stays. Stave does not retune a recording to change a detector's answer.

Changing the copy does not change the terms of the tool that rendered the demo, and it does not grant rights you do not already have.

Stave is not a rights registry, a distributor form, or a guarantee that every platform will accept the file.
